CARE & MAINTENANCE
Latex is an exquisite natural material that requires thoughtful care. Its unique structure reacts sensitively to oils, grease, and certain metals, which can compromise both appearance and durability. With proper cleaning and maintenance after each wear, your latex gloves garment will retain its beauty, performance, and longevity.
Clean latex gloves by hand in lukewarm water at approximately 30–40 °C. Gently move the garment in the water for at least one minute, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. For more intensive cleaning or odor removal, allow the latex to soak in lightly soapy water with a minimal detergent concentration for up to 30 minutes.
After washing, carefully remove excess moisture using a soft towel and lay the garment flat to air dry. Once fully dry, lightly dust with talcum powder before storing.
Never tumble dry, iron, or dry clean latex garments.
POLISHING
The latex gloves can be elevated to a mirror-like finish using a high-quality, silicone-based latex polish. For a consistently flawless appearance and a shine, we recommend regular, gentle polishing with suitable products.
ESSENTIAL CARE NOTES
To preserve the elegance and integrity of your gloves, please observe the following guidelines:
- Tight-fitting latex garments are easier to wear when the interior is lightly dusted with talcum powder.
- Oils, greases, solvents, and oil-based cosmetics can permanently damage latex and should be strictly avoided.
- Excessive pressure or polishing with a dry cloth may scratch the glossy surface. Always ensure your polishing cloth remains lightly conditioned.
- Prolonged exposure to heat, direct sunlight, or strong UV light may cause discoloration and material degradation. When not worn, store garments lightly talced in a black plastic bag, placed in a cool, dry cupboard or drawer.
- Latex is flammable and must be kept away from open flames and heat sources.
- Contact with copper, brass, or bronze can cause permanent brown staining. Light-colored latex is particularly vulnerable.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Natural Latex gloves is generally considered non-hazardous. However, as it is produced from natural latex, it may cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. Those with a known latex allergy should avoid contact with natural latex products.
